On one of the most important days of your life, it is essential to find a make-up look that fits in with your personality and that you feel happy and comfortable with. This is why I offer an in-depth consultation and trial in order to find a look that suits you and to make sure that everything runs smoothly on the day itself. Every bride is an individual, so I will devise a personalised look to suit you and the overall look and feel of your special day. I will select colours, products and techniques to suit you and your skin tone to ensure that you look naturally beautiful. I will also chat with you about the make-up you normally wear, the style of your dress, wedding and colour themes.
Your wedding day
On your wedding day I will arrive at the venue at a time that is suitable for you. I will work from the notes made at your trial but will also incorporate any new ideas you may have.
If any of your bridal party have not had a consultation, I will discuss the make-up they normally wear and devise a suitable look that is in keeping with the overall look and feel of the day.
Your make-up should be applied after you have had your hair styled but before you change into your wedding gown. I usually allow approximately one hour for the bride's makeup and 45 minutes for each other member of the bridal party. I shall also make over the rest of the bridal party before the bride to ensure the bride is looking her best for the big occasion.
